Our reading challenge in May will be one way of thanking them for their service.
Books for this challenge must include at least one character who is a member of the military or another profession that serves our country (police, firemen, nurses, sheriffs, etc.). War widows will also count, as they have sacrificed their husbands to our country.
For my international friends, feel free to use books that support your military and/or other service professions, as mentioned above.
Please come back and share which books you read in May that support our troops. Be sure to tell us which character in your book(s) fit into the challenge and which branch of service or profession they served in.

ReplyDeleteYes, I will count those. Part of their job description is to stop terrorists from harming us, which is definitely a service to our country.
