The Crimson Cipher by Susan Page Davis + Giveaway!

by Andrea Renee Cox

Reading this book was like inhaling a warm cup of cocoa on a cold winter's evening. It swiftly soared to the top spot on my favorites list. Thoroughly researched and exquisitely written, this book was filled with mystery, suspense, a dash of romance, and intriguing history. I particularly enjoyed the heavy emphasis on code-breaking during WWI (prior to America joining the Great War). Very interesting stuff. Susan Page Davis remains one of my favorite authors, as her stories continue to amaze me at every turn. Highly recommend!

Be sure to stay tuned till the very end, as I'll be giving away one (1) Kindle copy of The Crimson Cipher.

About The Crimson Cipher:

Emma Shuster’s father is murdered, leaving his secret encryption project unfinished. Since she worked with him, the navy offers her the position they’d hoped her father would fill—breaking ciphers. It’s 1915, and saboteurs are doing their best to keep America out of the Great War by bombing ships and factories and fomenting unrest among workers. Can Emma discover their plans and unmask their leader? Adventure and romance beckon as she joins a band of cryptographers trying to stop their enemies within the United States.

Goodies, I love Giveaways (although I've never won any ;)). This book sounds sooo good!

Okay, favorite place to read...probably my bed because that's where I end up finding myself with a book. I also love sitting on the swing in the garden on a nice day :)

Btw, this is Olivia from NaNo!

I have two favorite places to read. If it is daytime, I like to curl up in my recliner with a cup of coffee. At night I read in bed after the house and my husband have gone to sleep.

I typically read in bed at night before going to sleep. I am alone at this point, quiet, and I can drift away into another world. LouAnn C

But I like to read anywhere. On a plane, in the backyard with a cup of coffee, or in the living room.

Thanks for this amazing opportunity.

Thank you all for visiting Writing to Inspire! Due to spotty wi-fi connections while on vacation, I am only just now able to respond to your comments.

Olivia, the swing in your garden sounds like a lovely place to read!

Rebecca, my recliner is also one of my favorite places to read, only with a cup of cocoa instead of coffee.

LouAnn, isn't reading before sleeping simply wonderful? Nothing quite like slipping into a sweet story that will hopefully give you good dreams.

Blessings to you all!
