Always Watching by Lynette Eason

by Andrea Renee Cox

When a radio host is being stalked, the women of the Elite Guardians Bodyguard Agency swoop in to protect him and his twelve-year-old daughter. But what if the stalker turns violent... and aims at the protectors?

Always Watching is the first book in Lynette Eason's newest series: Elite Guardians. It's fast-paced adventure with memorable characters that face true-to-life issues, including common fears.

New this month!
One fear I especially connected with was the fear of water. It's a difficult one to deal with--and even harder to overcome--but Lynette handled the telling of it with finesse and a good dose of reality. There was a moment or two I almost had a flashback to my own traumatic childhood near-drowning, Lynette's writing on the topic seemed so realistic.

As with all Lynette Eason books, faith was woven into the storyline. From my personal experience, I can tell you it takes a lot of faith to believe things will turn out all right when you're scared to death (rational fear or otherwise). Again, Lynette handled this perfectly. She really has a great gift for storytelling.

The next few months will seem so long as I anticipate the summer 2016 release of book two in this series, Without Warning.
