January TBR Reducer Challenge

If this article makes little sense, that would be because it's past three a.m. as I'm writing it, and I just remembered that I hadn't so much as thought about my blog and it's already Monday morning. I was busy all day, celebrating my daddy's birthday and finishing up a couple of books for challenges on Goodreads and taking breaks to stretch and eat a little something. Yep, I'm pretty exhausted right now. But I'm turning off my alarm and sleeping in if I can. Fat chance if a train happens by...

Happy New Year! May 2019 be filled with joy, laughter, and most of all, faith in God. I hope we all will dig a little deeper in our walks with Him this year.

Our first challenge of the new year will be...

That's right! Any book counts. This is one of my all-time favorite challenges, because as long as you owned the book prior to the start of the new year, it counts.

Whether you prefer fiction, nonfiction, contemporary, historical, epics, or novellas (or anything in between), every book you read in January fits into this challenge.

Hint #1: TBR means to-be-read. So any book you've had sitting in your e-reader or laying around the house before 2019 will count.

Hint #2: They'll get more difficult after this one. These things are meant to challenge us.

Which books will you be reading for the first challenge of 2019?

Final call for December's Christmastime books!

I've got a couple of books in mind that I would like to read: ECHOES OF TITANIC and THE CHRISTMAS MATCHMAKER. There are many others, but I'm sure two is my limit that I get read... if that many.

I pray you have a great 2019, Andrea! Thanks for challenging us!

This I can do. :) I've already got 5 picked out. I don't think I'm going to be reading quite so many books this year though. ;)

Oops, I didn't realize I was signed in under a different name. :P

P.S. I have a new reading challenge on my blog too if you want to join.

I read "Echoes of Titanic" by Mindy Starns Clark and John Campbell Clark. This has been on my to-be-read list for awhile. Thanks for helping me get this accomplished!
